Althea Korea has recently launched A’bloom products which consist of the BHA Blackhead Blaster, Giant Meringue Puff, Baby Meringue Puffs, and their Fruit Mask Sheet. The A’bloom products range from PHP20 to PHP200 only.
BHA Blackhead Blaster | PHP200
The A’bloom BHA Blackhead Blaster is an easy treatment for blackheads, whiteheads, and dead skin without experiencing any pain. It purifies and clarifies the pores with its natural ingredients. Those natural ingredients simply keep your pores clean and tight, soothe and calm the skin, and make your skin glow.
The A’bloom BHA Blackhead Blaster comes in an 8g stick which makes it so easy to carry around. It also has this inner cover, which I find very hygienic.
Apricot Seed Powder
Tea Tree Leaf Oil
For me, it smells a lot like Tea Tree Leaf Oil combined with another scent. Its scent is not too strong, which I don’t mind when using it. Thus, it simply acts as a calming scent.
How to use the A’bloom BHA Blackhead Blaster?
I usually use this once a day, either during my bath after I have used my facial cleanser or at night, after I cleanse my face. Once, I have tried it with my face not so damp anymore, and it doesn’t work well. That’s why for me, it’s best to use it with dampened skin after you have washed your face. Also, I don’t use it for my entire face, I only focus on the areas where I have large pores, blackheads, and whiteheads. So, I apply the stick directly on my T-zone and targeted cheek areas. After that, I massage it for 30 seconds, then rinse it off with water.
Back in Aspen, I don’t mind the ice-cold tap water to wash my face. Or even when I travel during wintertime, I take advantage of it! It just makes the skin look better, as it closes the pore. Ahhh, I miss it!
My experience using the A’bloom BHA Blackhead Blaster
First and foremost, I love the convenience of using it! I’m very much prone to blackheads, which is why I’ve tried lots of blackhead remover products already. Most of them are in liquid form and takes you about more or less 5 minutes of waiting, and you have to go back to the bathroom and rinse it. And as for the tool used to remove blackheads? It’s quite painful, especially when another person does it for you. It simply enlarges your pore, particularly when using its sharp end.
As for the A’bloom BHA Blackhead Blaster, I can honestly say that this is a must try for those who have blackhead prone skin like mine. You can use it every day depending on your liking or need. Writing this review reminds me to use it again, especially now that it’s very hot and humid in the Philippines. I’ve stopped using it for a while since I have to try other skincare products for review. Overall, I’ve noticed changes on my cheek and nose areas when I’m using it daily. At those times, those tiny bumps I used to feel on my cheek areas disappear! ♥
A’bloom Fruit Mask Sheets

How to use the A’bloom Fruit Mask Sheets?
You can use the sheet masks as the last step of your skincare routine or simply after toning, depending on your preference. So just simply apply the sheet mask properly on your face and leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes. Take off the mask and pat the essence gently on your skin. As for the excess essence inside the pack, I usually use it for my neck, arms, and legs.
A’bloom Anti-Blemish Peach Mask
Purifying and Soothing Care
Rich in Vitamin A and retinol components which helps control the balance of oil and water on the skin. It contains Tea Tree Extract which takes care of troubled spots and pores. I used it last night since I’m currently experiencing acne breakouts on my forehead and chin.
It helps soothe irritated and sensitive skin while keeping the skin soft and glowing. If only I have more of these! I badly need it right now. It somehow dried the acne on my chin.
A’bloom Nourishing Avocado Mask
Nourishing and Wrinkle Care
Rich in protein that prevents aging and provides strong antioxidant with Vitamin E tocopherol. It also protects the skin from harmful environmental factors as well as prevent wrinkles. Additionally, it makes your skin supple and glows. Since I’m all about keeping my skin youthful and radiant, this variant is absolutely a must have for me.
A’bloom Brightening Lemon Lime Mask
High in Vitamin C to help protect and repair the skin from UV damage which banishes dark spots, as well as provides a clear and transparent skin. Also, it clarifies, calms, and brightens dull skin which gives you a natural glow.
A’bloom Moisturizing Watermelon Mask
Drench and Quench Care
Watermelon is excellent for hydrating and moisturizing the skin especially for hot and humid weather in the Philippines. Meanwhile, Lavender not only calms the skin but also heal and seal your damaged skin.
My experience using the A’bloom Fruit Mask Sheets
I love sheet masks which are rich in essence, and the A’bloom Fruit Mask Sheets is definitely one. As for the sheet mask itself, I love how thin and soft it was on the skin. With this kind of eco-friendly fabric made of the Eucalyptus tree, the essence really gets into your skin and not simply absorbed by the mask. You’ll love this! 🙂
A’bloom Giant Meringue Puff | PHP100 (1pc)
Apply your makeup quickly with this Meringue shaped Puff which is 1.5 times bigger than the ordinary puff.
A’bloom Baby Meringue Puff | PHP140 (3pcs)
Multi-angle puffs for detailed application on hard to reach areas and targeted spot cover.
Appearance & Materials
I love its unique Meringue shape with a pink pastel color. The Giant Meringue Puff along with the Baby Meringue Puffs are made of non-latex sponge with hydrophilic properties which will grow 1.5 times bigger than normal size when soaked in water.
How to use the A’bloom Giant and Baby Meringue Puff?
You may use it dry for full coverage which is seen on my photo. Meanwhile, if you opt for a dewy finish, just simply soak it in water and gently squeeze out the water.
You may use the Giant Meringue Puff’s wide part for the overall face, while you may use the narrow or top part for detail makeup. As for the Baby Meringue Puff, you may use it around the eyes and/or mouth.
My experience using the A’bloom Giant and Baby Meringue Puffs
When it comes to doing my makeup, I don’t always use foundation. Most of the time, I only use tinted sunscreen and apply it on my skin using my fingers. Anyway, as much as I like its cute shape, I find it a bit uncomfortable to use in a sense that I’m not sure how I’d be able to hold it properly. I don’t know how to fully explain it but that’s what I felt like, it was a bit awkward when I was trying to blend the product on my skin.
Perhaps, a slimmer version would be nice? It was too wide for my liking that I couldn’t utilize the narrow part of the puff. But overall, I still like these Puffs as it blended the products on my face really well even without soaking it in water. 🙂
