Benton Cosmetic’s Snail Bee High Content Essence

Just a few weeks after I had finished my bottle of Royal Ginseng Silk Essence, I couldn’t contain my happiness upon receiving a new bottle of essence to try. I got this Snail Bee High Content Essence from Benton Cosmetic, an organic skincare brand from South Korea.

The name Benton was derived from the movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” In the movie, Benjamin became younger and younger as time goes by. He had no choice but to leave the woman he loves named Daisy. If only Daisy could get any younger too, they could’ve lived a happily ever after. Now, Benton Cosmetic’s goal is to turn back the time of your skin without using chemical ingredients which only gives an instant temporary effect. They use only natural ingredients which helps your skin regain its healthy and youthful look. They produce small amounts of products to be able to provide the consumers with freshly made and high-quality skincare products.

DESCRIPTION: This multifunctional essence contains Snail Secretion Filtrate, Bee Venom, sh-Oligopeptide-1 and various botanical extracts are used to help achieve a bright, smooth and hydrated skin. It is suited for all skin types including sensitive and troubled skin.

MAIN INGREDIENTS:
Snail Secretion Filtrate
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice
sh-Oligopeptide-1
Bee Venom
Hollyhock Roots
SKIN BENEFITS:
Skin protection
Nutrition supply
Skin vitality improvement
Skin barrier improvement

MY EXPERIENCE: I use this clear and unscented essence after washing and toning my face. 1-2 pumps are already enough for my face and neck. I gently pat it on my face until it’s fully absorbed. I love its semi-thick watery consistency which makes it easily absorbed by my skin. One of the things I also love about this essence is that it’s very easy to apply. It’s also mild on the skin as if you’re not applying anything on your face. It keeps my skin hydrated and youthful. You may be wondering how come I say so? Well, as I have mentioned in my previous blog post, I had the age of my skin tested almost two weeks ago, and the result was 22.73 years when in fact I’m turning 23 a few months from now. So, therefore, I must say that it’s effective. However,  essence penetrates deeply into our skin which is why the effects aren’t that visible within a month of use. I will continue using it and I’ll  give an update on its effects on my skin.

Moreover, I encourage everyone to slowly lengthen your skincare routine by making use of products which are quite popular among Asians such as essence. Not only it hydrates your skin but it also helps slow down the aging of your skin. Besides, we all want to look younger, right? So why not try it yourself? A few years from now, you’ll thank yourself for taking good care of your skin.

Nice concept for the name of the brand. I've actually tried a snail cream product before but from Mumuso (it's a Korean brand). It was okay, I guess. But I'm still in the exploratory stage as to what I'd like to stick on for a few years. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this product! 🙂

I love the story behind the name!… and you’re right sis, adding an essence in our daily skincare routine makes a difference… I used to dread the overall lengthy process of adding a product after another but the result afterwards makes it all worth the time and sacrifice! Great article!
